So I have made the executive decision that dh is going to get a vasectomy. And since he is less then thrilled with the idea much of it will fall on me. So this may be the dumbest question in the world but what type of doctor does this? What is the recovery like ect.

my dh is already threatening to get one just so he doesn't risk my health again...i don't know what kind of doc, but according to him it's an outpatient procedure that he'd heal from in 2 weeks (ish)

Urologists do them. From what I have heard they are "sore" for a few days. But his pcp should be able to refer if needed for your insurance.

Family doctors also do them.

If you end up with a hysterectomy, you won't need to pester him in to doing it.

that is true!!! I bet he is crossing his fingers and toes. I'm hoping we will know beforehand (or will be able to anticipate) whether or not I'll need it. Is it weird that part of me would be relieved to not have the HG like symptoms that I now get sometimes during af.

I'm going to ask at my next appt when they will be able to see if accreta is present. My level II is at the beginning of Jan. so hopefully we can assess placental blood flow then.
